Pengabdian Taruna Terhadap Masyarakat Tentang Alat Keselamatan Berlayar Tahap IV

(29/04) Pada hari sabtu yang cerah ini, Taruna/I STIP  yang penuh semangat mengisi hari pesiar di kala weekend datang dengan mengadakan pengabdian masyarakat di Pelabuhan Kali Adem, Muara Angke, Jakarta Utara.  Tim STIP yang berangkat pada agenda ini terdiri  dari Ir. Sukmanofith, Sugiyanto, Imam Sadjiono, Iwan Heru, Retno S Wulandari dan Tribudi dan taruna taruni stip yang berjumlah 20 orang merupakan tim pengabdian hari ini. Dalam agenda sosialisasi ini tim STIP didampingi oleh KSOP Muara Angke yaitu Capt. Wahyu, perwira jaga KSOP dan bintara dari KPLP.

Saat di dalam kapal Taruna/i STIP Jakarta mengajarkan bagaimana mengenakan lifejacket dan berbagai aturan keselamatan kepada wisataa khususnya yang akan berlayar ke Kepulauan Seriibu, di Teluk Jakarta. Karena keselamat penumpang merupakan tugas dan tanggung jawab bersama baik awak kapal dan penumpangnya. Para wisatawan pun yang sebelumnya berlayar harus mengenakan lifejacket dan alat-alat keselamatan lainnya. Dengan kesadaran dan kepatuhan pada aturan keselamatan akan bisa meminimalisir jatuhnya korban jiwa dalam kecelakaan pelayaran.

Kegiatan ini akan terus dilanjutkan oleh Taruna/i STIP guna mengisi waktu pesiar weekend dengan hal – hal positif dan tentunya membawa manfaat bagi masyarakat.

Devotion Cadet To Society About Safety Sailing Tools

On a great Sunday, the STIP cadets are bustling themselves again to socialize the use of safety sailing tools to passengers on pulau seribu destination ship at Muara Angke Port. This activity is done by  STIP cadet to take advantage of leisure time when cruise by serving the community to understand how to wear life jacket when boarding aboard. In this activity cadets are accompanied by supervisors from STIP, as directed by Plt. Chairman of STIP Capt. Marihot Simanjuntak, MM that community service activities by STIP cadets are expected to be routine activities which is carried out continuously every week.

Cadet’s dedications to the civilians about safety equipments on board phase I

(16/04) today, The cadets of STIP do a socialization about safety and how to use life jacket to all passengers and travelers to Seribu Island and and Muara Angke Harbour, North Jakarta. In this chance the cadets of STIP are explain to the passengers about how important is transportation’s safeness and safety equipment’s completeness on board.

The Principal of STIP, Capt. Marihot Simanjuntak, MM said that this event is a social service and public service to the community, this event will be STIP Jakarta’s routine event every weekend to spend time when the weekend is coming.

STIP cadets socialized the Maritime Safety in Muara Angke Port.

(08/04) The cadets of STIP had socialized the maritime safety to the community in Muara Angke Port. Twenty cadets had cooperated with Ditkapel of Ditjen Perhubungan Laut (Sea Transportation General Directorate) in this event in Kali Adem. There was The director of Ditkapel of Sea Transportation Capt. Rudiana, accompanied by the head of P3M Pande Siregar, MM, Capt. Wahyu Prihanto as the KSOP of Muara Angke and Capt. Bharto Ari as the Kasubdit Maritime Safety. They had good response to this event done by the cadets.

The cadets conducted the socialization to the community on the ships toward the importance of maritime safety, they also demonstrated how to wear the lifejackets and some efforts to prevent the passengers over capacity.

In this occasion, the passengers  have awareness to wear lifejacket, but some otherr are not wearing this jacket. After they are informed about the importance of wearing jacket, then the wear it.

The caretaker of STIP Principal, Capt. Marihot Simanjuntak MM, explained that this activity will be the annual activity to spend their weekend, so that the cadets will be involved actively in the community service. “This program will be held continuosly, to support the maritime safety increasing, it also gives the cadets an opportunity to train them in community service activity. Their weekend will be more valuable. “

This socialization completed the similar activity done by Ditjen Hubla and KSOP Muara Angke. Besides, this activity is one of BPSDMP ‘s efforts (here STIP) in conducting the instruction from Minister of Transport, Budi Karya Sumadi.

4th semester upgrading ceremonial

(06/04) On this day in STIP held Morning Parade Ceremony for the fourth semester advancement for the cadets of STIP. This ceremony was led by Ir. Boedono Wiwoho ST, MT, Officer Marlin Sidabutar Ceremony, Commander Ceremony Sugito, S. Sos. As the leader of ceremony Ir. Boedono Wiwoho SJ, MT gave a speech to the participants of the ceremony that he congratulated the cadets / taruni who successfully continued their education to the next semester. In his speech, Ir. Boedono Wiwoho SJ, MT reminds the cadets that the STIP campus relies on the existence of cadets in order to maintain and bring the reputation of the campus that creates the best seafarers in the world, and to achieve the vision and mission of STIP to become an international shipping educational institution that produces human resources Professional cruises. After a speech, the ceremony leader announces the cadets who get the best achievement index in the field of academic, discipline and sports. cadets who get appreciation for achievement in academic, discipline, and physical field get the achievement badge.
