Community Empowerment Training (DPM), is a superior government program that aims to improve the welfare of the community, by increasing and providing specialized and certified skills training to the community.

And the College of Shipping (STIP) through the Center for Research and Community Service (P3M) STIP, has played a very active role in realizing this noble task and has been carried out in various regions of Indonesia, one of which is in the Islands of Meranti, Riau Province.

Representing the Chairperson of STIP Jakarta, Capt. Supendi, M.MTr and Sugito, S.Sos., M.Sc, as P3M representatives submitted 1200 certificates consisting of 400 BST certificates, 400 SAT certificates, 400 AFF certificates, and 87 certificates of martyrdom which were received directly by the Head of the TU Personnel Dishub Meranti Regency Hasrizal, S.Ip.
