The Principal of STIP Jakarta, accompanied by the STIP senate team, closed the Seafarers Training Programs Class I, II, III, and IV for the Nautical and Technical Department at STIP. The graduations carried out in STIP Auditorium with 40 representatives of 257 training participants. In the graduations, health protocol applied by maintaining distance, wearing a face mask, checking body temperature, and washing hands before-after the event.

The event began by singing Indonesia Raya and Transportation Hymns. Then, Vice Principal I Academic Affairs, Mr. Budi Purnomo, gave an educational report. He delivered in the report that the number of participants was 257, with 100% graduating results.

The principal gave Samir and Certificates of Competence to all graduates as the marking of the ceremony.

In his speech, the Principal of STIP said, “in accordance with the theme of the closing ceremony, which is” Ready to Build a Professional, Independent, and Global-minded Indonesian Seafarers,” I hope that graduates who have completed education can adjust to the times,” it is expected that sailors can create innovatively through ideas, suggestions and provide input for the development of the world of maritime education as the times change.”

On the same occasion, the Principal of STIP also advised to always improve English language skills with the Marlin Test system, which is currently in STIP and approved for International affairs. He also thanked the Lecturer or Teaching Team.

At the end of his speech, the principal said, “we welcomed all of the graduates for cooperating with STIP to be able to help cadets of STIP for their job training.”
