Jakarta, 9 October 2019

Located at the Santika Hotel in Bekasi, a cooperation agreement was signed between STIP Jakarta, led by Capt. Marihot Simanjuntak, MM with Bina Sena Maritime Training Center led by Ferry Parang Tirta, S.Kom. This collaboration includes the implementation of the Seaman Skill Exams (UKP) and Certification.

The purpose and objective of this cooperation agreement is that the Seafarers’ Expertise Examination (UKP) Examination and Certification are required in accordance with the STCW 1978 Amendment 2010 for participants from the Bena Sena Maritime Training Center conducted by STIP Jakarta which is proposed to have validity in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
