Indonesia is the largest MARITIM STATE in the world, almost 2/3 of the territory is water, so the great challenge of the Indonesian Nation for economic equality, national logistics system, strengthening integrated national connectivity and others. The potential of the Indonesian Maritime Sector is very large, so the prospects for the maritime sector (shipping, ports and maritime logistics) are very broad and promising.

The current vision of the Indonesian Government is to become the world’s maritime axis, quality human resources in the maritime sector are needed.

STIP as a Higher Education under the Ministry of Transportation has long contributed in producing professional human resources in the field of national maritime affairs.

PERMIT TO CONDUCT APPLIED MASTER PROGRAMME

Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia number 001/D/O/2021 concerning Permission to Open a Marketing, Innovation and Technology Applied Master Programme and a Safety and Risk Engineering Applied Master Programme at the Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran Jakarta Organised by the Ministry of Transportation.
