Located at SMK 9 Pontianak, medical check-up activities were carried out and the submission of candidate files for DPM participants in cooperation with SMK 9 Pontianak and STIP Jakarta in 2020. The DPM participants were not only from SMK 9 Pontianak, but there were also those from other high schools and the general public.


The number of prospective DPM participants examined was 204 people. The participants were very enthusiastic in participating in the inspection process and hoped to join the DPM, especially BST, SAT, AFF so they could work on commercial vessels. This DPM program is a form of government role in helping people obtain seafarers’ skills training without cost or free.
