Jakarta, 21 June 2019.

Located at STIP Jakarta Maritime Room, PT. ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), represented by Mr. Edy Hantoro as a Senior Surveyor, gave scholarships to 11 Taruna and Taruni majors from Nautika, Teknika and KALK who were achievers.

This activity was witnessed by Capt. Marihot Simanjuntak, MM, as the Chairperson of STIP Jakarta, accompanied by functional and structural officials.

In his speech Capt. Marihot Simanjuntak, MM, said that every cadet and Taruni must be able to improve achievement because with increasing achievement can produce appreciation, including by obtaining educational scholarships.

After the scholarship awarding ceremony was completed, it was followed by a public lecture from PT. ABS delivered by Mr. Edy Hantoro, this public lecture was attended by cadets level IV and level II as many as 300 people and the core of the public lecture delivered was a scholarship program from PT. ABS is an annual program that aims to provide support to the world of education in Indonesia which is given to cadets / students who excel in their fields.
