The principal of STIP Jakarta, Mr. Amiruddin, MM, led the opening of the senate fro Nautical and Technical Class Batch 58 2nd Period at STIP Jakarta. One hundred fifteen graduates attended this graduation. Mr. Amiruddin said, “Indonesia has entered the era of the industrial revolution, where there are currently many innovations in the industry, both on land and on the sea (maritime) industry. I hope that the graduates who have completed education for eight semesters can adjust to the times and the technology, being agents of change to make Indonesia a world-class maritime university that, in the future, can bring change to the Indonesian maritime world. They are the Youth of the nation’s hope that never stops learning and developing themselves. So, it would be possible for us to dream of “The human resources of seafarers for the Advanced of Indonesia Shipping.”
In this senate session, seven graduates won academic achievements and received awards; they are:
- Pribadi Islami from the Nautical department awarded ‘Kartika Adhi Wignya’ as the best Academy achievement with GPA 3.54.
- Danang Priambodo from the Technical department awarded ‘Kartika Adhi Wignya’ as the best Academic Achievement with GPA 3.59.
- Jacksen Hartono from the Nautical department awarded ‘Kartika Adhi Sastra’ as the best Scientific Writing with 90 as the value.
- Stratabi Abrida Yudanto from the Technical department awarded ‘Kartika Adhi Sastra’as the best Scientific Writing with 86 as the value.
- Fernando Suya from the Technical department awarded ‘Kartika Adhi Bharata’ as Best Personality Award with the “A” dictation in all semesters.
- Berli Gustira Aqsa from the Nautical department awarded ‘Kartika Adhi Raga’ as the Best in Exercise Award.
- Ivan Dhandi Zafriano from the Nautical department awarded ‘Kartika Adhi Wicara’ as the best English Language Proficiency.
