Chairman of STIP Jakarta, Capt. Marihot Simanjuntak, MM., Led a chevron donation ceremony for prospective cadets of batch 62.

The activity that was carried out in the STIP star field was attended by all STIP academic community, ranging from structural / functional officials, employees and all cadets.

In his speech the Chairperson of STIP Jakarta, Capt. Marihot Simanjuntak, MM said “this chevron installation activity is a new tradition in the STIP environment, because it is usually done after the cataracts perform inauguration activities, and this is as one of the coaching patterns so that the catar / i can behave like a cadet when they are in the community.

Seeing the development of the maritime world that is so rapid, then every cadet / i must study hard and highly disciplined, this is intended so that all cadets / i can master and not lag behind technological advances, especially technological advances in the shipping world.

At the end of the closing remarks the Chairperson of STIP Jakarta, Capt. Marihot Simanjuntak, MM added “every cadet must be able to speak English well so that they can communicate in the international world and take advantage of free time to study in the lab or other learning places.
